A Holistic Approach to Pain Management
As a licensed acupuncturist I would define a healthy person as an individual living in harmony with their environment and with their “Qi” flowing freely through the channels, full range of motion in the joints and is pain free. For many of us as we age, we may consider back ache (or any kind of pain) to be normal. I would say these symptoms of an imbalance somewhere in the body may be common but it is not normal!
Pain is like the red light in your car that come on when something needs attention so I’d like to show you some choices that you can make that will hopefully alleviate the need for over the counter pain meds and help you to be more comfortable in your life and overall in better health.
A simple yet profound statement sums up the essence of the Chinese medical view of pain:
If there is free flow, there is no pain;
If there is no free flow, there is pain.
Come to the free class and learn ways to invigorate and encourage your flow of Qi! We will talk about tools to use for an acute back pain as well as addressing chronic issues. Please come to this important talk and learn some easy ways that you can take control of your health.
